An extra long puffy mariner chain. Also once known as the anchor link, this chain was first introduced in the 1800s and worn primarily by sailors and fishermen to keep their lucky charms/chains close to their hearts. Then popularized a century later by Gucci in the 80's, the mariner chain was given a third name - the 'Gucci link' chain. Today there are many renditions of this classic design and here we have a traditional puffy mariner chain offered at a slightly longer length. (Normal length for women's chains are 16-18" and for men is 18-22"). This length is a great layering piece with other chains you may own, or as a stand alone worn with a flowy top.
